New Plymouth Rangers (AFC)
New Plymouth Rangers AFC (NP Rangers) is the complete football club with both senior men's and women's teams competing in the local Taranaki leagues for honors and across the Central football region in the Chatham Cup. We are also part of the Team Taranaki affiliation, which enables the Club to promote its members to the highest local level to play in the Western Federation. NP Rangers also has a junior division that caters for both boys and girls across the 6th to 15th grades. We also run a very successful Summer Soccer 5-aside program for youngsters, aged 5-13 years.
The NP Rangers Clubrooms and playing field is at Merrilands Domain, 259 Mangorei Rd, New Plymouth.
Typically the competition season starts from Easter and ends around October. However the Club gets active well before this organising player registration, coaches, pre-season training and "friendly" games.
New members (either as a player or supporter) are always welcome, please call either of the contacts listed on the left if you would like more information about joining our Club.
Club Room Hire
The Club Room is available for hire throughout the year. The Club Room is an upstairs venue that overlooks the Merrilands Domain. It has seating for approximately 80 people and is approved for up to 175 persons. There are separate toilet facilities for males and females, a well-appointed kitchen.
