2019 will see New Plymouth Rangers look to push on following their success over the previous 3 seasons. The club had unprecedented success by winning Central Football's Western League at its first attempt and gaining promotion to the Federation League. Then finishing second at their first attempt in the Federation League was a fantastic achievement. 6th last year was a tough season but we have a talented group of young players that are developing and we are targeting a top half finish again in 2019.
The club's Taranaki Premier League side will be a development side in 2019 but we still expect to have a competitive team on the park.
The clubs three social teams playing in the Taranaki Championship, Division One and Division Two all finished in the top half of the table with Championship team winning their league and the Oddbodz finishing second again and winning the Nimmo Cup for the third time in 4 years.
